As the Assistant Development Manager, you will support the end-to-end delivery of residential and mixed-use development projects – from feasibility through to completion. You’ll take ownership of defined project workstreams and play a key role in driving outcomes across master-planned communities and medium to high-density developments.
This position offers career progression, with increasing accountability across commercial, financial, design, and delivery aspects of development projects. Your key responsibilities include:
• Support project strategy and decision-making through commercial, financial and market insights aligned to portfolio objectives
• Manage project workstreams, programs, and stakeholder coordination to drive timely delivery, monitor KPIs, and proactively escalate risks across the development lifecycle
• Support feasibility, budgeting and cashflow forecasting while managing project costs, procurement and financial reporting to ensure strong financial control and value optimisation
• Coordinate consultant engagement, design inputs, and documentation control to deliver commercially aligned outcomes while driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability
• Manage planning approvals and authority engagement to secure permits and progress projects through statutory processes
• Coordinate construction delivery, monitor contractor performance and program adherence, and proactively manage risks, inspections, and issue resolution
• Support marketing and sales delivery while managing collateral, customer engagement, and key stakeholder relationships across the project lifecycle
