Job Description

Package: $150k-$170k inclusive of super, depending on experience
The Role:
This is a newly created role and an incredible opportunity for someone looking to build and grow a new team in Brisbane, with a client who already has a solid presence with active projects relating to the Olympics and local arenas. Our client partner with government agencies and private organisations across a variety of property types and asset classes including education, health, aged care, justice, housing, events, civic (local government), defence, aviation, transport, and sport and recreation.
Your role will be required to continue the development of the advisory business across Brisbane therefore you will expected to be well networked in the industry and hold a passion for business development.
The advisory unit are responsible for PPP advisory and infrastructure along with asset and Facilities Management consulting.
At executive professional level you should be an established team leader able to demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements profitability. You should have the ability to coach and mentor junior staff, delegate effectively and provide high levels of confidence to clients management.
You should have a growing professional network and an emerging business development capability with the ability to win new and repeat work. You should be able to win and/or manage revenues of more than $500,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have the following skills/experience:
• Proven experience in developing business within FM and asset advisory
• Strong FM and asset consultancy advisory experience
• Have a growing professional network and an emerging business development capability with the ability to win new and repeat work
• You should be able to win and/or manage revenues of more than $500,000 per annum.

Requirements

Your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
• Offer Facilities Management and Asset advisory to achieve key project outcomes.
• Carry out required projects including developing manuals, reviewing FM service providers and ensuring projects are working with the relevant standards.
• You will be committed to building new client relationships and identifying new opportunities to grow the Brisbane business.
Facilities and Asset Advisory responsibilities:
• Evaluate and report on asset and facilities management delivery models, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
• Benchmark FM and asset management practices against industry standards (e.g. ISO 55000, ISO 41000).
• Review lifecycle and whole-of-life cost models.
• Deliver due diligence reports for asset and FM services within PPP frameworks.
• Advise on building maintenance strategies, including reactive and preventative maintenance, minor capital works, and lifecycle replacement programs.
2. Procurement Support
• Guide clients through transitions into and out of FM/AM delivery models and service provider arrangements.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to prepare comprehensive procurement and contracting documentation (e.g. service specifications, KPIs).
• Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops and presentations.
• Produce structured reports aligned to standards, including:
• Feasibility analyses
• Peer review assessments including PSC and HVHR reporting
• Procurement scopes and bid reviews
• Performance management frameworks
3. Contract Administration
• Deliver evaluation reports for operational planning documents, including:
• Mobilisation and readiness plans
• Asset management strategies
• Contract delivery frameworks
• Monitoring and performance review systems
• Prepare reports that assess FM and asset systems in terms of performance, risk, and improvement opportunities.
• Advise clients on all aspects of FM/AM contract administration, from transition and performance review through to audit processes and contract amendments.
