QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six-car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose-built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Environment & Sustainability Lead, this is a senior role ensuring Queensland Train Manufacturing Project’s compliance with environmental, sustainability, regulatory, and client requirements during construction and operation. The position offers expertise, approvals oversight, compliance leadership, performance management, and client reporting across two project sites:
• Ormeau (Construction): Oversees builder performance, reviews environmental documentation, monitors compliance, and supports ISC ratings.
• Torbanlea (Operations): Manages operational environmental plans, statutory/client reporting, and EPBC compliance.
