About the Role
The Venue Infrastructure and Overlay Project Manager is responsible for ensuring Olympic and Paralympic Games requirements are delivered into both permanent and temporary infrastructure and overlay across the Brisbane 2032 venues program.
Working in close partnership with the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) and the Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP), the role will support in ensuring Games requirements are embedded into the permanent infrastructure design and delivery of 17 new and upgraded competition venues and four new Village capital developments.
In parallel, the role supports the wider venues team by planning, coordinating and delivering temporary infrastructure and overlay across all other Games venues. These venues will include more than 35 competition venues, 10 villages, the Main Media Centre and various other non-competition venues) ensuring all venues are safe, fit-for-purpose, and operationally ready for test events and Games-time.
Initially reporting to the Director of Venues, the role will transition to report to the Director of Venue Infrastructure once appointed.
