Key Responsibilities:
Perform surface preparation, including sandblasting and paint prep, to ensure optimal coating adhesion
Apply protective and decorative coatings to railcar components using industry-standard techniques and equipment
Install decals in line with design specifications
Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures to maintain quality and compliance
Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules while upholding high standards of finish and durability
About you
A trade, engineering, or tertiary qualification – Certificate III in Painting
Understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
Must have automotive painting experience, 2 Pac, epoxy, body filler work, fiber glassing and masking experience.
Ability to prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking)
Skilled in applying paint finishes using brush, roller, and spray equipment
Experience preparing and installing decals and signage
