We are currently partnering with a key government client to source an experienced Principal Advisor (Finance) to join a high-profile, integrated infrastructure program supporting delivery of the 2032 Olympic Games.
This role sits within a major program delivering:
• A transformative metro-style public transport solution connecting the Sunshine Coast
• A critical interchange upgrade enabling future transport capacity

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI)
• Provide analysis on financial performance, trends, and variances
• Support monthly cash flow processes in collaboration with the broader finance team
• Ensure financial data integrity across systems including SAP and Primavera Unifier
• Partner with project teams and stakeholders to support informed decision-making

Requirements

• CPA qualified (or equivalent experience in finance/accounting)
• Strong background in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Experience within government or major infrastructure environments highly regarded
• Advanced Excel & Power BI capability
• SAP experience advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
