Our client is a leading advisory business at the forefront of major infrastructure delivery across Australia. With a strong and growing pipeline of work linked to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, they are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their Brisbane team.

This is a rare opportunity to work on once-in-a-generation projects, supporting the planning, procurement and commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure that will shape Queensland for decades to come.

With over 17 new and upgraded venues and a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure program underway , the demand for high-calibre transaction and commercial advisory professionals has never been stronger.

The Opportunity

Working within a high-performing Advisory & Transactions team, you will play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure transactions across the Olympics program and broader Queensland infrastructure market.

You will lead transaction workstreams, advise on procurement and commercial strategy, and support clients through critical project milestones—from early strategy through to market engagement and contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead components of major infrastructure transaction processes (EOI, RFP, contract development)
• Develop procurement strategies, commercial models and delivery frameworks
• Analyse financial, commercial and risk inputs to inform decision-making
• Prepare high-quality transaction documentation and evaluation materials
• Support and lead client presentations, evaluation processes and negotiations
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across complex engagements
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability
• Support client relationship development and identify opportunities for growth

Requirements

About You
You are a commercially driven infrastructure professional with strong experience in transaction management, procurement and advisory.
You will bring:
• 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure transactions, commercial advisory or procurement
• Demonstrated experience delivering major project transactions from initiation through to award
• Strong capability in procurement strategy, commercial structuring and evaluation processes
• Experience developing transaction documentation and managing competitive procurements
• The ability to distil complex issues into clear, practical advice
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior government and private sector clients
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project environments
• Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Economics, Engineering or similar
• Experience across major transport or social infrastructure projects, particularly within Queensland or similar markets, will be highly regarded.
